Points will be calculated using data provided to us by www.soccerway.com. If this information is not available for some reason, then the organisation will decide. Any adjustments to the official results (disqualification etc.) that arise after we have updated the scoring will have no effect on the updated scoring. In other words: we will not adjust scorings.

All the matches

You can earn 1 point for every match which you predicted correctly (home wins, tie or away wins)

1/8 finals

+1 point for every correct predicted country in the 1/8 finals.
+1 bonus point for every country placed in the correct position.

Quarter Finals

+2 points for every correct predicted country in the quarter finals.
+2 bonus points for every country placed at the correct position.

Semi Finals

+3 points for every correct predicted country in the semi finals.
+3 bonus points for every country placed at the correct position.

Third place

+4 points for every correct predicted country in this round.
+4 bonus points for every country placed at the correct position.

Final

+5 points for every correct predicted country in the final.
+5 bonus points for every country placed at the correct position.

Remarks

Scoring will only apply to normal time (90 minutes + injury time), and does not include goals scored during extra time or penalties

For each round a maximum of one country will be awarded with points. If you predicted for example Portgal vs Portugal in the final you will not receive double points.

Key feature of this game is that you can play against your friends, family, colleagues in your own sub league.

You can create a sub league by entering a sub league name during registration. If your colleagues, friends and family fill in the same sub league name during registration they will be added to the sub league automatically.

The person who first creates a subleague will be appointed as Sub league Captain and has the power to delete unwanted users from the subleague.

You can see your sub league when you are logged in by clicking on the link 'My Sub League'.

You may add your profile to one or more subleagues. You can manage this by clicking on the link 'My Sub League'.

So invite your friends, colleagues or family and don't forget to tell them your sub league name. For easy inviting use the tell-a-friend link.

After you created a profile you can fill in your prediction.

For every match you must predict a draw or the country who wins the match.

Predictions can be saved and changed until the World Cup 2010 tournament begins.

To save your prediction for the wk2010 fantasy soccer game you must first create a profile.

You can create a profile by clicking on the link 'Join Now' in the menu bar. Choose a username, password and fill in your e-mailaddress.

Optionally you can fill in the name of a subleague. See the section 'Create Subleague' for more information on this subject.

After you created a profile you are automatically logged in, so you can immediately make your predictions.
